➤ The Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolizes the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country.
➤ We celebrated the 78th Independence Day, celebrating 77 years of freedom, to commemorate India’s freedom. On this day, we Indians celebrate our heroes and freedom fighters that sacrificed their lives for the nation, to bring us the freedom, peace and joy. Independence Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and with great éclat on August 15 in JAYTECH. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
➤ The day started with great pride and enthusiasm by the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the National Anthem in the presence of the management, students and staff members of JAY TECH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. The crowd then moved to the auditorium for the event to kickstart. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as children wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion.
➤ The celebrations began with various speeches in English, Tamil and Hindi, highlighting the significance of the day to make the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence, they need to study well and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.
➤ Various group dance performances took place across all grades with great grace and enthusiasm. There were patriotic group dance performances by both our junior and senior set of students. Children had also actively participated in preparing innovative digital presentations on the theme of the day.
➤ Towards the end of the event, our Chairman Shri.Jagadees, informed the students about the plethora of ways in which they can contribute to the wellbeing of the country Correspondent Smt.Geetha Jagadees presented a wonderfully woven speech with a combination of patriotism and appreciation towards India and our. The celebrations came to an end culminated with vote of thanks by our Principal Mrs.Shanthi Roja.
➤ The students brought the day alive with their passion and love of the motherland, India, through their contribution to the whole event. As the day of celebrations and participations ended, the students pledged themselves to upholding the honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness that belongs to India.
