Eye Test Camp

➤  A regular eye test camp held at the school last week proved to be an enlightening and beneficial event for both students and staff. Organized by our school, JAY TECH in collaboration with VASAN EYE CARE, an optometry clinic, the camp aimed to promote eye health awareness and early detection of vision problems.

➤  Students from all grades participated eagerly, forming orderly lines at the makeshift clinic set up in the school auditorium. Experienced optometrists and their assistants conducted thorough eye examinations, checking for common issues like myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. They also educated the children on the importance of protecting their eyes from excessive screen time and harmful UV rays.

➤  Teachers and staff members took part as well, ensuring that everyone in the school community benefited from the initiative. As prescriptions for glasses were written and advice on eye care was dispensed, the camp highlighted the critical role regular eye check-ups play in maintaining overall health.

➤  Parents were appreciative of the proactive approach the school took towards their children’s well-being. The success of the eye test camp underscored the need for periodic health screenings, fostering a culture of preventative care and health consciousness among students.
